Topic: What is the difference between Prepaid and Post-paid terms? What do the NET terms mean?

Prepaid service is the most cost-effective option, and is recommended if you expect on-going Website Maintenance requests, or want to maximize your savings at any priority.

Although we recommend you choose the prepaid priority you're most likely to use, note that you can make requests of any priority, and your prepaid credits will be converted as needed. For example, $360 prepaid credits will cover 20 hours of Economy Website Maintenance or 12 hours of Emergency! Website Maintenance. It would also cover a combination of 4 hours of Urgent Website Maintenance and 13 hours of Standard Website Maintenance.

You can add to your prepaid service balance any amount of $20.00 USD or more. When you request services, you will choose a backup payment term (NET 7, NET 30) to use in case your prepaid balance is depleted in the course of service.

FlexPay: If you'd like to ensure maximum savings even when your prepaid balance is exhausted, you can elect to to have your chosen payment account automatically charged at the prepaid rate immediately upon service completion. The smallest increment of $20.00 USD will be charged to cover the difference, and any remainder will be applied to your prepaid balance.

Prepaid balances cannot be refunded, and do not expire, provided your account is active at least once every 6 months. Postpaid terms are ideal if you or your organization uses a traditional Accounts Payable department or third-party service. We offer 2 payment terms for your convenience: NET 7: Payment is due in full 7 calendar days from service completion. For larger requests, groups of "milestone" tasks within the larger request may be completed and billed separately. NET 30: Payment is due in full 30 calendar days from service completion. For larger requests, groups of "milestone" tasks within the larger request may be completed and billed separately. Postpaid payments not received when due are subject to additional fees. CBM will make efforts to bring past-due accounts current. Delinquent accounts may be subject to collections.
